Comprehensive speech therapy assessments are completed at the onset of services and periodically going forward to track progress and update goals as well as strengths, progress, and areas of need.
Assessment information can be gathered by reviewing the client's records and history, direct clinical observation, using standardized testing tools, data collection, and conversations with parents/caregivers to inform the therapist of the client's communication skills.

Parents, guardians, agencies, schools, and individuals can all request an assessment.
