Our Approach
We utilize a person-centered approach, tailoring goals to best serve our clients and meet their individual needs. Clients' existing skills, strengths, and interests are incorporated into sessions to make therapy more relevant and enjoyable. We believe in recognizing and celebrating our differences. At PBT we also work to better understand the potential role of trauma and burnout in our clients' lives and how these experiences can manifest behaviorally.
While therapy is transformative in nature, constant or discouraging correction is counterproductive to our mission and goals. PBT seeks to connect with clients and nurture their autonomy, skills, and well-being in order to best support their areas of need.
