Why hire an ASL interpreter?

Providence Behavior Therapy's ASL Interpreting Sercvices

For many businesses and situations, providing a certified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter is required by law, specifically the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA):

https://www.ada.gov/resources/effective-communication/

Interpreters provide equal access to improtant information, which helps reduce barriers in communication and subsequently connection. While a Deaf or Hard of hearing person may utilize written or spoken English, hearing aids or cochlear implants, gesturing, lip reading, and/or other methods to communicate, these options do not replace or diminish the need for accessing information in their native or preferred language (i.e., ASL).

Providing an interpreter helps increase accessibility, inclusion, awareness, acceptance, respect, and celebration of disabilities/differences.
