June joined PBT as an ASL Tutor in August 2025, bringing with her decades of experience in both ASL and education.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Gallaudet University in 1995 and has since taught ASL to learners of all ages, from preschoolers to adults, in a wide range of settings. Her teaching background includes working in deaf schools across the country as well as private tutoring. With proven success, she has helped students at varying stages gain confidence and skill in both ASL and Deaf culture.

A native signer raised in a Deaf family, June has been deeply rooted in the Deaf community her entire life. She instills these values and cultural traditions in her three CODA sons, all of whom are fluent signers.

Outside of teaching, June enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
