PBT's founder, Heather, started working in the field of behavior analysis ten years ago while in graduate school for mental health counseling. She's traveled across the country and worked for multiple agencies. Heather has worked with clients of various ages, skill levels, diagnoses, and backgrounds. These unique experiences have provided important insights into the best approaches for managing behavior and utilizing ABA.
Behavior is our thing.
PBT takes pride in working relentlessly to help clients, children, families, and agencies achieve the best possible outcomes. We understand how challenging it can be to manage a child's needs. Your journey may not be an easy one, which is why we strive to support your child's behavior and you. We have seen the power and success of ABA and hope to use this science to improve the lives of others.
“The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” - Steve Jobs
Data is of the utmost importance; it demonstrates effectiveness. It shows us what's working and what's not working. Data is objective and guides our decision-making. We don't make suggestions or changes based on guesses, personal preferences, gut instincts, or current societal trends. This approach enables PBT to provide meaningful, effective services.
